Arbakki's Bestla has provided our family with a geat deal of love, as well as non-stop fun and excitment. Bestla is an active dog that loves to play, go for walks, work the sheep, and seems to have endless energy.
Bestla is a long coated tan shade chocolate female carrying the gene for tri-color. Bestla came to us from my good friend Laura Lutz from Arbakki Icelandic's. Laura is an ethical breeder with very high standards for health and excells at socializing her puppies. Bestla's mother is a very sweet girl, even a bit on the quiet side.
Bestla has had excellent results with her penn-hip exam, falling in the high 90th percetile in the database for all Icelandic Sheepdogs in the United States. Bestla also carries a clean CERF.
This is Bestla's first breeding and we are hoping for great things our of her! You can find more information and pictures of Bestla on Our Dogs page.
Please contact us with any questions or further information, or to be added to the list of potential families for one of Bestla's pups.
Fagrahvamms Muninn is a tremendous male. This boy was chosen specifically for Bestla. He returned with me from one of my trips to Iceland.

Muninn is a short coated tan and white boy with black markings and is carrying the genes for both chocolate and tri-color. We had high hopes for Muninn, as there were very good hips in his lineage and the genetics on his dam's side are not as common in the US. Muninn has had very good results with his penn-hip exam, falling in the 80th percentile, normal elbows, and an OFA Excellent rating. Muninn also has a clean CERF.
Munnins dam did excell at agiity while living in Sweden. Kveika Kveika Nett-Fruma is quite a sight. She is absolutely a bag of tricks, even swiching the light switch on. Muninns breeders have also become family to me. They are also breeders with a high level of integrity.
Muninn has proven his ablity to absorb education, as he earned his AKC CGC certification at 7 months of age. We are looking forward to participating in agility with Munnin.
